Cocktail Congregation

Phil Tiki (surfbass7) - 17 Jul 2003 13:50:03

It's time for another sermon in surf. The Cocktail Preachers play Beat
Kitchen in Chicago Thursday July 24th. It's been quite a while since
we've played Beat Kitchen, but we are grateful to be playing with
surf-instro band the Infrareds from California and Chicago's Rockabilly
rebels Plan 9 From Outer Space. The Infrareds are a killer fast and
furious surf band with a new CD "Recorded on Microfilm". This is one
of my favorite new CD's. It is also their first US Tour, so if you're a
fan of instrumental surf or just great guitar playing, DON"T MISS THIS
SHOW. Show starts at 9:00 p.m. and we perform first and have an
amazing set planned.

So far it's been a really lucky summer for us in Chicago, with The
Nebulas just in town and The Infrareds next week.
We only get a taste of what it's like in California...
