Hi,
Does anyone have any idea where to find the bass tab of Mr Moto?
Or can anyone put me in the right direction?
Thanks,
Jerry S.
Jerry,
Sorry I can't help you with the Tab. but. The Fun thing(kinda about
moto is there is no real Bass part. Just listen to the Piano
and Rhythm guitar and bass it(pun intended) on that. Or listen
to a cover version of it with somebody doin' bass on it. It is
interesting to hear all the different things people do on it.
It's pretty simple if you want to do it bare bones Version.
But Sam Bolle from Slacktone has the best version for my
money. Watched him do it with Slacktone the other night form
6 feet away. Like a private bass lesson.
I wishI had it on Video.
By the way, somebody had a video camera on a table to my left
filming right on Dave W. exclusively. Just a close up shot of his
hands playin'. I bet you guys would kill for that huh? Too bad I
don't know who is was.

Jerry:
I agree with Jeff, I don't think there is a bass on the
original Mr. Moto. I also agree that you could infer and
improvise a bass line by moving through the chord changes
of the rhythm guitar and piano lines.
Also, I believe that besides Slacktone's version, Agent
Orange does a neat aggressive version of Mr. Moto...
good luck with your quest...

Thanks guys,
The Agent Orange version is very helpfull.
So far I came up with the following D A# A D (verse) C F C F E
(bridge/Chorus) A F E A and then repeat bridge.
I guess I fiddle around a bit more and come up with something usefull.
Thanks again,
Jerry S.
-Exactally, you got it. and throw in a little bit of walkin' bass
lines in between tose notes and you pretty much have it.

Is this a trick question? :)
Yes, the original Belairs version has no bass...those crazy kids!!
Satan's Pilgrims do a very good version (from "At Home With..." I think),
you might try that.
Good luck!
