FREE BEACH PARTY FESTIVAL AT THE AUTRY MUSEUM IN L. A.

Just a reminder, the FREE Beach Party Festival is around the corner.
ATTACHED YOU WILL FIND A SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY.
BEACH PARTY FESTIVAL
Sunday, June 22 * 12:00 * 7:00 p.m.
Grab your beach blanket, put on your sunscreen and rock on over to the
Autry for a totally awesome Beach Party! The highlight of the
festival
will be four decades of surf music including:
· King of the surf guitar, Dick Dale!
· Eighties surf punk band Agent Orange
· The Surfaris, best known for their hit "Wipe Out"
· Contemporary surf band The Eliminators
· The Tornadoes, known for their hit "Bustin' Surfboards"
· The acoustic surf music of The Duo-Tones
Throughout the day see surfboard shaping and sand castle making
demonstrations. Check out the cool cars of the Southern California
Woody Club. Feel free to cool down in the theatre with the1965 film
"Beach Blanket Bingo," and two new surfing documentaries "The
Kill 6" and "Flight Academy." Finally, talk to our community
partners from the Surfrider Foundation, L.A. County Lifeguards, Heal
the
Bay, National Scholastic Surfing Association, The American Cancer
Society, The Aquarium of the Pacific, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, Big
Red
Productions, and many others. All outside activities are free to the
public on this day.
All events are FREE to the public. Museum admission is not included.
