Hello:
I have a 62 Jaguar that was my Dad's. I am looking for a low power amp to
use at home that will give me a good clean, wet sound; lots of reverb, lots of
vibrato. I don't gig anymore and if I play too loud, my wife will kick me out.
:)
Suggestions?
Thanks,
j
Hey....what color is the Jag? Any pictures?
I don't know what your budget is, but the Fender '65 Deluxe Reverb Reissue
is a 22 Watt tube amp with both reverb and vibrato. I've had no direct
experience with them, but I've seen lots of bands gig with them.
It may be overkill if you just want a simple practice amp. But it looks like
a nice choice if have the cash and inclination.
Good luck and let us know what you get.

I suggest a Deluxe Reverb. For practice I use a small silverface
Princeton through my RI 63 reverb tank. Plenty of wetness.

I use and love the Fender 65 deluxe reverb (re-ish). sounds good at
low volume, great reverb and vibrato, great tone. It's just loud
enough to gig with (just in case you change your mind).

J:
The Little Lanilei Amps look pretty cool...
I have never used one but they do look like they would fit
your specs.
Check them out:
Another suggestion might be a fender Champ with outboard
effects like a reverb unit and a tremolo unit.
This suggestion might be a little costly, but it might just
give you the low volume tone you are looking for.
good luck,

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. The Jag is 3-tone sunburst. I have
uploaded a pic in the guitar folder--please disregard the fingerprints. :)
