Mark your Palm Pilots boys and girls, for our (hopefully) Annual Surf
Band/Hot Rod blow out Sunday, May 25th (Memorial Day Weekend) at
Suzy's in
Hermosa Beach.
We are calling this one
"Surf Stomp 2003"
Subtitled "Classic Surf Music and Classic Cars"
Here's the line up of bands:
3:00PM- The Volcanics
4:00PM- The Dynotones
5:00PM- Surf Report
6:00PM- The Detonators
7:00PM- CHUM
8:00PM- The Fabulous Plank-Tones
We also have the Southern California Woodys Club (insert obvious joke
here)
coming with stylin' classic old surf mobiles as well as various other
kick
butt hot rods and cruisers. (FYI, anyone with a sweet ride that isn't
a
lowered Honda/Acura is welcome to pull into the roped off parking lot)
Not to mention (but I am going to anyway) we will be raffling off
swag
galore, including a CHUM skateboard, Detonators shirts, clothing/gear
from
Huff Surfboards, clothing from Mayer Bros. Drums, and CDs from
Reptile
Records. Here's how the raffle works
.you buy a drink at the bar, you
get a
raffle ticket. So just like dating, the more you drink, the better
your
odds!
