Ohsyrus, thanks a lot for this. As pretty much all musicians, I love
hearing stories like that. Very cool.
BTW, I put up some more photos of the Space Cossacks, all the stuff
that is on the internet that I could think of. Obviously, I've got
bunches more, but none of them are digitized, and anyway, this should
be enough. BTW, I'm not sure who loaded up the first four photos,
but thanks! The one of me was taken back in the Fall of '96, within
a few months of forming the band, and playing in Tuscaloosa,
Alabama. It was the first show we ever played with the Penetrators,
and at the end we had a bit of a jam. It was myself and Mark plus
all the Penetrators minus Rip, on stage at once, playing Baja by the
Astronauts, if I recall correctly. I'm wearing Rip's Penetrators
jacket, so for a song or a few I was an honorary Penetrator (no
comments from the peanut gallery, please). BTW, a few pictures
later, there's a guy standing right in front of the stage checking us
out - that's Rip, in case you're wondering. The fourth photo of
Catherine, myself and Mark is from our final show together in July of
2000, at Iota in Arlington, VA. That was a great show. Anyway, just
thought some of you might be interested.
