Re: Surf CD's on line(Hawiian shirt debate)

Jeff (bigtikidude) - 13 Apr 2003 12:44:00

There is also Go-Boy records in Redondo Beach Ca. I know they have
a web. site, but not sure if it's up and running. The next time I
talk to Brent(the new owner)I'll ask him, and if not tell him to get
onthe ball about providing to people in the surf barren wastelands.
As for Hawaiian shirts and surf, I'm kinda tossed on that. I have
a good selection of Tiki style Hawaiian shirts. But some would say
that if they go to see a Surf band and see em wearing Hawaiian shirts
you know it's going to be a snooze fest of Ventures covers and old
standards. I'd say mix it up, different prints for the whole band,
or some Hawaiian, and some t-shirts.
I wanna have a band that wears all different bands shirts on stage.
To show support for all the other guys in the genre.
