Okay, I guess I shouldn't have replied to that original post...but this is
getting a little off topic. Well no, it is off topic. I thought it funny at
first, but we are starting to get into the gutter on this one so I've purged
the photo and messages. You can always go to Ebay and find it, hell bid on
it if you want, lets just keep it off of here. I would like this list to at
least have the potential possibility to have a female member some day :)

Or maybe the neptunas to
join.()
I wish we could find the Queen of the Surf Guitar, Kathy
Marshall...I think she lives in Orange County. I wish she
would join up.

BN - RE: Dano Grrlss. I was more interested in their historical
significance, or lack thereof, than mere titillation. Obviously, there
were a lot of groups and promoters and record labels who cashed in on
the early California surf sound. The Dano Girls were just a more
blatant example.
I, too, hope that a few female surf players join this group. But given
the very small numbers of musicians playing this music, I wonder if
there are even a handful of women surf musicians there. Time will tell...
Best!
Gavin
P.S. My new band has enlisted two Go-Go Grrlls. Go Go Mothers, in
fact. They're stoked! And we may add a female sax player! As yet, she
is too young to go into the bars (drinking age in Colo. is 21). We
hope to be playing some gigs and parties later this summer.
