What is the best "Surf" Guitar

Dave has a number of Jags, but I recall reading that for "Into The Blue
Sparkle", it was a Japanese Jaguar with US hardware, Fender custom shop
prototype pickups, and a buzzstop. He also flips the bridge around and has
put flat head screws in the tail piece to make sure the strings do not
contact anything until they get to the tail piece. He also replaced the 3
slider switches in the lead circuit with a mini-3 way toggle switch. And to
top things off he always puts a die on the tip of his trem bar. Theres a
pretty good picture that Bo took of Dave & one of his Jags in the photo area
for this group.
