I was wondering where I could find a relatively cheap buy good
reverb amp. I got a 10 watt Smart amp with my Silvertone but it
dosn't have reverb so I want to just get SOMETHING that has reverb
but not spend a fortune.

Hi Kevin,
There are a few cheap reverb amps, like the Fender champion 110, which
has a small spring reverb, not really wet, but cool. (not hard to find
cheap 2nd hand)
There are a few others, like the small Vox-AC 15?, which comes with
reverb (digital) and tremolo (also digital) but sounds really good as
well. (they did a good job to put the AC-30 sound in a small non tube
amp)
In the low budget erea, there is Stagg who also have a 15 watt reverb
(digital) amp. Not as good as Vox or Fender but quiet o.k.
It seams that more of these low budget amps come with reverb lately as a
saw a few others recently.
And ofcourse you can add reverb by a small effect. Danelectro has a
small reverb effect, which sounds nice and there is the Boss reverb as
well. All are reverb but not splashy or wet.
Danelectro has the Spring King and Electro Harmonicx has the Holy Grail
and Holier Grail, both more expensive and digital but with a certain
amounth of Splash and wetness in them.
Although, I still prefer my relatively cheap old vintage Farfisa Organ
reverb.
Just my two (Euro) cents,
Jerry S. from Belgium

there are several options here:
my little Peavey Bandit has a lame reverb unit...I got that
amp for free! I had a cheapo Fender Champ in the eighties,
it had reverb. I have a St. George reverb unit...bought it
for $30...it's kind of cool. You might be able to find good
used reverb stuff on ebay....search under "reverb unit" or
"reverb tank" and you should find some Danelectro stuff and
maybe an old Premier or Gibson unit for under $100.
I definately love my Fender '63 re-issue reverb unit...it's
the best...and I plug that into my old '64 Bassman...sounds
like a trip through time.
ps: fender made solid state reverb in the 70's and 80's,you
can still find thosew units for under $100 also. They suck,
but at least the sort of sound like reverb.
good luck,
David P

Well, I'd have to figure that an effects box would be the thing to do. BUT
you did say an amp, so....
I'm having a heck of a lot of fun with my amp, which is the Fender Bullet 15
DSP (Digital Signal Processor). Great Fender sound. Has 3 reverbs, rvrb
w/delay, 3? delays, two flanges, chorus, chorus with dly, 2 trems and a bit
more. Loud as heck for 15 watts. Yes, you can break your lease with this. :)
Also has a headphone jack and RCA connectors so you can plug in
pre-recorded minidisc or your DiscMan or a drum machine or whatever.
Just as cool as cool can be! I paid CAD$219, so maybe what? $140 US?
