In preparation of the Cocktail Preachers hitting the road for spring break,
we will start this 4 weekend tiki bar crawl at home in the Chicagoland area
this Saturday when we return to Canoe Club April 15th. We havenât performed
there since June â05 so weâre way overdue. The Canoe Club is the southwest
side
tiki bar with a three story waterfall in the middle of the restaurant and
giant shark tank in the bar. We perform three setâs starting at 8:00pm.
Then Saturday April 22nd we will make our monthly visit to Sandbar. This
place is rapidly growing in popularity and for good reason. There is no cover
charge and we will be performing two and a half full throttle sets starting at
9:00 pm.
Spring Break!! We hit the road to perform for our gracious southern hosts in
Atlanta as we celebrate Atlanta Trader Vicâs 30th anniversary bash April
29th. Thanks to our friend JT & Tiki Kiliki from Tiki Central, we will headline
this two-day event. There will be traditional hula dancers, various exotica
bands, tiki artist Derek and of course, the famous Trader Vicâs Mai Tai. If
you
live near Atlanta or have friends or family around there please inform them
of this incredible event. If youâre there come up and introduce yourself and
have a toast with your favorite drinking companions the Cocktail Preachers.
After Atlanta we head to Ottoâs Shrunken Head in NYC May 5th. More on that
next
month, but in the meantime see you at the bar!
