Hey Everybody,
If you haven't already done so, please go check out
the new Forum based SurfGuitar101 at
www.surfguitar101.com
I was extremely skeptical when Brian announced the new
format, but over the past month I have come to
appreciate it in so many ways- for instance- Hate all
those boring posts about what kind of Pick to use?
Well, in the new format, you never have to look at
those posts or have them filling up your email box.
OR, do you really really care about Picks? Well don't
be surprized to find that there is a whole folder
forum dedicated to picks! You'll be in heaven!
Check out dedicated forums for live show reviews,
reverb tanks, Eleki, a show calendar, the list goes
... There's a real time Shout box, and the recently
dedicated "The Shallow End", a forum named in memory
of Rip Thrillby and dedicated to off topic subjects--
So if it has to do with surf music it's in the
Surfguitar101 Forums!
Worried about having to dig through folders to find
what you want? There is a great search feature that
blows the Yahoogroups one away. Also, there is a nifty
button which shows you only new posts since your last
visit.
Right now there are about 150 members at the forum,
which means that 700 of you haven't made the move. You
don't have to join to check it out, unregistered user
can peruse the boards. After you take a little tour,
you'll probably want to join. It's Free!
Please come check it out!
