in the word of smithers, EXCELLENT.
i had never seen either band perform before and i must
say it was well worth the 9 hour drive. it was really good
to meet so many people from twangshebang and surfguitar101
and members of both bands. plus, the asbury lanes is definitely
a unique experience as far as venues go. i must add that they
had an old bud brown surfing movie playing behind the bands and so
many times the music and movie blended perfectly.
