I have to pimp Phil Dirt's website. He has an awesome song playing.
Phil, what can you tell us about this band? Thanks in advance for my
continuing education.

We had a thread about this a while ago...an amazing song from a very
obscure band...wow! I can't remember the full name of that song..but
it ends with either "Part 1" or "Part 2". Someone else said the other
part, released on the flip side, wasn't that great.
Lots of bands have covered that song, notably Laika & The Cosmonauts
and The Apemen.

I wasn't even aware of The Trademarks prior to seeing
that...I have the version that The Nocturnes did on
one of those comps that Paul Johnson put together
years ago. I am guessing this single is pretty rare.

The track running is a merger of parts one and two. Both
sides rip in my opinion. According to John Blair's awesome
book, the single was issued in April '63 (Jubal 100). the
label was from Anaheim, CA. That'a all I know. I believe
this is the original of this great intro.

Anaheim where is that? :-) j/k
was the band from Anaheim too Phil?
Jim Frias of the Nocturnes told me they used to practice in Anaheim
near the Harmony Park venue. He said when they hear the original
Baha Ree Bah, they knew they wanted to cover it.
I agree the original is killer, what do you think about the
Nocturnes version?

Hi Jeff,
I don't know where the band was from...who was in
it...nothing. I like the Nocturne's version quite well -
but not as much as the Trademarks.
