Does anyone know what kind of keyboard was used in Slaughter on 10th
Avenue? Sounds like it's going through a Leslie, but it doesn't sound
like a Hammond.
Bernie
it's paz johnson on tenor sax played thou a liesie, the keyboard player that
played on the ventures records was a woman the wife of the producer i
believe, i can't tell you her name but i read it in some vintage guitar mag
a few years back.i'm almost certain that the organ that on the ventures
records was a farfisa.and the reason is because all thou old organs each had
its own funny sound and the farfisa was the more expensive of all of them
and had reverb and vibe, term sounds that the other didn't have, which you
can hear on thou records

I think was one of those where they used a sax through a Leslie.

Thanks Timothy and Marty. Now I should be able to duplicate the sound.
