I put together a profile page in MySpace a few months ago; the goal was to
expand my passion for surf music to a wider, maybe even, dare I say, younger
audience
In this process, as it happens, it morphed into something else!!
So much great music is found by a variety of artists in MySpace; and a lot of
them, when I made my presence known, started offering their music to me for
"Twang Shebang" and/or "Elemental Instrumental"
Yet, as members here know, those shows deal primarily with "surf music" and
other "twang" genres closely related to "surf music"
So what's an "unsteady boy" to do? Well, I approached my Program Director,
Daniel Coleman, about doing another internet radio show together, and we would
play ONLY ORIGINAL music being offered by bands and solo artists in MySpace
Mr. Coleman immediately jumped at the idea; and then I started sending out
"bulletins" announcing that a new radio show was "coming soon"
And check this out....suddenly, as word gets out, I now have over 4,400
"friends" (as that term is used in MySpace)....pretty overwhelming.....
So we have launched "YourSpace Radio", and the premier show is up and running
There is a 1-page site I maintain, which will hopefully stay current with the
playlists for the newest show; that site, for obvious reasons:

The show can also be accessed directly at the same site that offers "Twang

The music featured on "YourSpace Radio" covers many genres; but DON'T WORRY -
THERE IS SURF MUSIC THERE TOO! (c'mon, did you think I wouldn't feature "surf
music"?)
on the first show I play a great song, "Tombstone Cowabunga", by a band
calling themselves JEFF UGLY SHOES & THE CEMETARY SURFERS; their MySpace
