I am looking for talent for the Jersey Shore Surfrider Foundation annual
Stokefest South in LBI so I thought I would try to maybe network though these
"Surf Rock" channels. Its a good cause ad below is the ad I was sending out.
Technically there is "Surf" in this message and the show because my band, The
Fin-Dicators are donating our talent in return for free food & drink, and most
of all, STOKE.

Gig Available! Surfrider Foundation Needs Bands for it?s LBI Stokefest Event.
Event Date: April 8, 2006.
Surfrider Foundation is holding its annual LBI Stokefest South charity event. We
need more talent for the show. As a charity event, you won?t be paid for your
donation, but you will get modest travel expenses. Currently we have a Surf Rock
band but would like to diversify the sound. Any reggae band or upbeat,
optimistic sounding band would be ideal. Bands from LBI or the South Jersey area
are especially encouraged. This event WILL give your band great exposure to the
LBI Shore area and now with summer coming up, shore gigs rock.
