The Beat Tornados used as rally theme

Audun Kristiansen (audieak) - 11 Mar 2006 16:49:35

Norway is trying to get one of the WRC Rally rounds. In early feruary
a trial-round was held in the area that hosted the 1994 Olympics. This
was a regular national championchip-round, and a summary of the days
events was broadcast on national TV late at night. The main "musical
theme" if you will, of this program was The Beat Tornados and the tune
Kreml de la Kreml. Not bad!
This small piece of trivia is coming a tad late, because I taped the
show and didn't get to see it until yesterday. I just dicovered it,
and I'm happy to see that TV over here know of the Beat Tornados and
uses their music.

That is very cool Audun. Do you know if the Beat Tornados are still
together? Their website disappeared recently (not a good sign). I'm a
huge fan of theirs....

I'm not sure if they are still together. I could't find any dates
for gigs on the net, but I found this link:
It could explaine why their site is down.
