Carol, or anyone for that matter,
If your ever planning a trip to Calif. e-mail me, and I'll try to
help you figure out what surf bands
might be playing around that time. Isn't always tons of shows, but
sometimes. And once in awhile they pop up pretty quic, so that
makes it hard to plan around sometimes. But it's worth a shot.

Hard to believe I actually attended a show last night where Jeff was
not in attendance! Very cool show at a terrible bar featuring
Slacktone and OO Spy Car. Always wanted to see Spy Car---WAY bizarro
Venusian lounge music impeccably performed, definitely not surf music,
and even weirder than my band. Love that lap steel.

-Matt,
I was wondering who went to that, anybody else there from the surf
crowd? How was the crowd in General. I was really bummed to miss
that, as I haven't seen 00spy car in over a year. Did you dig them.
Think you'll play with them sometime. If so have them down to O.C.
as they hardly ever play down here.
I was really torn and didn't really mentionall the stuf that was
going on as to not hurt any feelings. I went to a tiki bar in El
Segundo That had the Insect Surfers doin' 2 long sets.
Also there was the Bone sharks up near Magic Mountain, and the Pacific
Headuhunters in Downey.
Sucks when there are more than 1 show in a night.
