the falcons, anyone?

mono_tones_1 - 27 Feb 2006 04:56:28

anyone familiar with the falcons (canada)
this morning i had the 'beyond the beach' comp on on my way to work,
and i was totally struck by the falcons' shadow land ... what an
awesome song.
so i did a bit of internet digging, their site doesn't do too much for
me [ ]
zptduda has three albums of them, they all have very few samples, and
the ones they have, i like some but dislike some others very much ...
trying to figure out whether i want to buy something of them. any
opinions on the band? cd reviews? their produiction seems to be grea,
very vintage, as far as i can tell through a pc soundsystem...

We used to have the "Fly by Night" CD and absolutely loved it. Highly
recommended. It was lost somewhere along the way and I thought it was
out of print. I also thought it was the band's only release, so I
obviously had faulty intelligence.
I can't speak to the other cd's but Fly by Night is highly recommended
by me. Thanks for the link.
Happy Reverbs!
