Cocktail Preachers are back at the newly opened retro themed âSandbarâ? this
Saturday February 18th. The owner was impressed by our performance last
month and has asked us to make monthly appearances. The Sandbar is in the very
near Chicago suburbs and the room has great acoustics and décor. There is no
cover charge and we will be performing two and a half full throttle sets
starting at 9:00 pm.
With help from our friends from Exotica 2005, and in celebration of the
Chinese New Years, âYear of the Dogâ?, the Cocktail Preachers will be
performing at
Chef Shangri-La Sunday February 26th. We will be doing two laid-back sets
starting early at 6:00 pm. Chef Shangri-La is taking reservations for this event
and Iâve heard they are filling up.
Were looking forward to warmer months and spring break, as the Cocktail
Preachers will take their âTiki Bar Crawlâ? to distant lands. I guess we
were
running out of new tiki bars to explore in the Chicagoland area. Weâve been
asked
to participate in the Trader Vicâs Atlanta 30th Anniversary bash April 29th.
Itâs our first time in Hotâlanta and it should be one amazing party. Then
off to New York to a âSurf Rock Shindigâ? at what the east coast claims as
the
best tiki bar east of the Mississippi, âOttoâs Shrunken Headâ?.
