Hey there all,
Just dropping a plug for The Novarays show this sat. night in Orlando.
If anyone lives near, or may be in town this weekend and needs a dose
of reverb, come on out to FISH ON FIRE...it's near Orlando Int'l
Airport...here's the address in case anyone wants to map it:

This will be our last show before I'm off to Japan to see the in-laws
and catch Rockin' Enocky and The 5,6,7,8's in concert!
Oh yeah, I'll be debuting the '66 bandmaster & my new reverb tank!

Butch,
I think that Lewis will be back in the U.S. around the same time
that Slacktone is playing at Wills Pub.
We have a show in Orlando (Winter Park) with The Nova Rays later
that week...
We will be invading a bowling alley!!! (Bowl America Winter Park)
on a league night!!!
Does that take balls or what... (pun intended)
It should be a fun show...

Well, I get back from Japan on March 12th, so we have no gigs until
March 31st with The Intoxicators! (gonna be an old fashion Surf
Battle-O-The-Bands in a Bowling Ally!)
When is that show again? I'd love to see Slacktone, I hear tell them
thar Cali-forie boys know how to "Twang"!
...must be somthing in their DNA.

Slacktone is playing Sebastian Beach Inn in Melbourne (a cool venue, as
I understand it, right on the beach) on 3/25 and Wills Pub in Orlando on
3/26. Rumors abound that there may be an impromptu Defiant Ones set as
well with Dr. Rich, and The Thrusters (from Tampa) are opening both
shows.
I wish we could come check out the surf-n-bowl-rumble-o-rama you cats
have going on, but we've got a gig on the same day. So far I'm
0-for-(lost count) - I missed you guys (Nova Rays) at Jetsetters, I
missed the Hukilau (which we were booked for, then had to cancel, whuch
bummed me out for weeks, I've been itching to do a show with another
surf band)...barring any other unforseen happenstances, I should make it
down to check out The Intoxicators! @ Jetsetters (which looks like a
swank venue), not counting Slacktone - that's a given.
