First let me say howdy y'all.
Been lurking here for a while, reading, learning and really enjoying
the info here.
Guess it's time to jump into the fray.
I'm the #2 guitar man for the newest Cen-Tex surf outfit The
Thunderchiefs.
The band is made up of
Me, my names Shaun, on the plink and plank guitar, the one that plays
the wrong chords half the time.
Joe Emery (formally of Death Valley and currently of The Ugly Beats)
on bass and guitar.
Bobby Trimble (of Big Sandy's Flyrite Boys, and has played with The
Untamed Youth, The Sleazy Surfers and a thousand others) on Drums.
Mike Guerreo (Sir Finks) on the other,or as I like to call it,
the "good" guitar and bass duty when Joe pulls out his jag for a few
tunes.
We're having a bunch of fun working up a set of surf originals,
favorite covers and gigging around Austin when ever we can.
I just posted some spare bedroom demos on our myspace page for
everyone to check out.

Mike and Shaun,
I really dig what I've heard so far. I've always liked the Sir
Finks, and Bobby Trimble is one of my favorite drummers so this band
looks like it's bound to have great results. The people who's band
I'm playing bass for lately I believe are having a party this week
which Big Sandy's band is supposed to be at. Hopefully I'll get to
see Bobby.
