a meshuggener opportunity

Mel Waldorf (melwaldorf) - 12 Jan 2006 01:43:42

Hi all. As some of you know, Meshugga Beach Party has been signed by Jewish
Music Group and our CD re-released. It's time to take the show on the road, and
unfortunately, the current Meshuggeners have conflicting commitments. So, I'm
looking for more Meshuggeners!
Auditioning for some/all of the following:
rhythm guitar
piano/organ
bass
drums
Initial time requirements will be a weekly rehearsal in beautiful Alameda,
California, with one extended weekend of shows (maybe say Thursday - Monday ish)
per month. If things look good, maybe more, we'll see.
If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, are good at your instrument,
available for travel/shows, and willing to dress up as a hasidic rabbi for gigs,
let me know! Male or female, goyim or members of the tribe welcome!
Intrigued?
Drop me a line!

Mel,
Cogratulations!
I would love to audition, but I'm too far away and don't have the
time. Maybe I could help facilitate bringing the band to Memphis. You
haven't lived until you've heard Yiddish with a Delta accent and fried
chicken for shabbat dinner.
Shalom y'all!

Ted,
Oy vey, y'all! Meshugga in Memphis sounds like a great idea, hopefully
we'll get there before too long!

My wife thinks I'm mashuggana, but I live in Los Angeles. It would be
too much of a shlep.
