Re: The Vintage Surf Instro Top Four? / Dave Myers activity?

Jeff (bigtikidude) - 09 Jan 2006 15:02:27

I think that The Drummer from Dave Myers and the Surftones, said
that Dave Myers now plays bluegrass. I'd love to see him play surf,
but I'd settle for some pickin' and grinnin' stuff.
many allready excellent addditions to the list,
Other old bands I'd like to see:
The Whole original Lineup of the Nocturnes(not the 4/7ths we saw
at the first Rendevous Reunion) which was still amazing.
The Surf Teens from Central Ca.
The Avengers VI
The Illusions
Richie Allen and the Pacific Surfers(I know it wasn;t a live band,But)
The New Dimensions
Rhythm Rockers(yeah I know not really a surf band, but I heard they
were killer)
The Pyramids(of just surf songs)(They just did a reunion)I didn't go,
and am glad, they did 3/4 or more vocal songs.
The Trashmen
Jeff(bigtikidude)
p.s. I'd love to go back to the 60's or 80's to see what those
shows and turnouts were like.
