Camp Blood tab

Richard (errant_jedi) - 06 Feb 2003 15:59:21

Ok, I said I'd post this some time ago and I'm finally
getting around to it. This is the first tab I've done
completely on my own (meaning no help from other tab
or people) so it may very well contain some mistakes
or missed notes. If it does, just let me know.
Parenthesis () means two digit fret number, an h or p
means hammer-on or pull-off.
It's all on the low E string:
<Start at the 12th fret and do the Dick Dale
quick-slide up (down) the string into...>
E--2222-(10)-9999-5555-95954-2222-(10)-9999-(10)-
*Power chord riffs>>(x2) 4 5 7 5 4
4(x10)5(x5)7(x4)5 4
(12)(12)(12)(12)-5-9-5-4-2-----3----5----3-2
-Repeat the first part one more time with a few extra
A (5th fret) power chord strums at the end and then:
(12)(12)(12)(12)-9h(10)p9-7777-4h5p4-2222-3-5-7777-
(12)(12)(12)(12)-9h(10)p9-7777-4h5p4-2222-3-5-7777-(12)
(12)(12)(12)-9-(12)-(14)(14)(14)(14)-5555p4h5-22222-
(12)(12)(12)(12)-9-(12)-(14)(14)(14)(14)-5555p4h5-22222
4 5 7 5 4
4(x10)5(x5)7(x4)5 4
2 3 5 3 2
...after that, start over from the beginning and play
the opening riff one more time, listen to the song for
little differentiations in the rythm. He also does
this little solo at the end to cap the song off, but
I'm afraid I don't have that part yet, if anybody can
figure it out, please post it.
And there it is...I think.
Richard

NP, James, let me know what you think of it. Like I
said, it's my first tab and I'm pretty certain of it,
but if you find anything that doesn't sound quite
right feel free to let me know. I was never totally
sure about the chord riffs, but it's the only thing
that ever sounded close to me so that's what I stuck
with. I don't know if Gein is subscribed to this
group, maybe he'll see it and inform us. Hope it
works for you!
