Someone probably ought to tell me how to do that
"tinyurl" thing to keep this from happening. These
are available from Fender Japan for less (from
Japanese retailers) than what this guy is asking but
he's got some sweet pics. Who was it on this list
that said basses were ugly?

A bass with a rhythm circuit? Crazy control layout for a bass if you
ask me. I guess they just wanted to duplicate the Jag layout. IMHO
all Fender basses look 1000% better with the ashtray covering that butt
ugly bridge - and they sound better with the foam rubber mute that used
to be stuck in there. I also like the old pickup covers on the basses,
but I'm just an "old school" kind of guy.
