OK... here's the scoop on all of the crazy gigs that I know about in
Florida for the next couple of weeks...
Jetsetter Lounge (In Lake Worth) has Slip & The Spinouts playing
Rockabilly at tonight's grand opening... (an invitation only
event... but if you e-mail Mike Jones at the Jetsetter Lounge he
could probably get you in.) They are also playing there at New
Years...
The website for the Jetsetter is
In Tampa, The Vodkanauts are playing at Skippers Smokehouse tonight
with the Red Elvises.
The Vodkanauts are also playing at the Ritz/Carlton in Tampa on New
Years Eve...
The Vodkanauts website is
The Nova Rays are playing in Orlando (or WinterPark which is bear
Orlando...) for New Years at The Stardust Video and Coffee House...
this is a free show...
They will be playing at Holly & Dolly's in Casselberry on the 7th...

The Cavefish are playing Friday, January 13th at Nuttin Too Fancy
(aka the old Rio Roadhouse), in Jensen Beach, FL...
The Haole Kats have a few gigs around the Tampa area in the next
couple of weeks too... their website is
The Reclaimers will be playing at Big Daddy's in Tallahassee, FL on
January 7th... Their website is
The Surge (from Atlanta) will be playing at the Surf Expo in Orlando
on January 16th... They don't have a website yet... :)
My band, The Intoxicators! will start playing shows again in
February... George (rhythm guitar) owns a couple of video game
stores and uses the time between Thanksgiving and January 15th to
try and make some money... So we are on a performance hiatus at the
moment...

Oops... Sorry about typing the wrong date for The Surge gig...
The correct date is Jan 13th... in Orlando at the Surf Expo...
All of the dates in my previous post came from the band's websites...
I checked the Dillenger's site but didn't see any upcoming gigs...
Sorry guys... I didn't mean to leave you out...

as for actual Crazy gigs that I have seen or heard of...
The Nova Rays (Orlando, FL) played a gig next to the drive thru
window at the Beefy King restaurant in Orlando... I think they
played for the gig for free food.... Ha!
