As far as the whole Explicit Lyrics, I have no idea what is going
on. I have a suspicion that it may be a marketing ploy, though....
Whatever the case, I haven't had anything to do with it, and in
fact, find it kinda annoying...

You have?? But why would you want to? The prices on blackface
Showman heads seem to have gone up by about 50% over the last two
months. I've bid a couple of times, but in each case they've gone
up above what I'm willing to pay. The market (or at least eBay)
price at the moment seems to be about $750 for a blackface Showman
head. And people are bidding up the heads in uncertain working
order to $600-650, which is unbelievable to me. Anyway, I'm hoping
the market cools off a bit next year. Until then I'm still
monitoring the situation - and I really appreciate you not
bidding! :)

That would be awesome! Though I'm not sure they'll have the Madeira
back next year - Melanie explained to me at the last one that they
try not to have the same bands play year after year. But maybe you
guys can get it? we'll definitely host you in Indy in '06, have no
doubt!

You might also keep an eye out for "Showman-ized" Bandmasters. I've seen a
number of them where the power section has been changed to 4x6L6. They may
come cheaper. Years ago I even saw a 4x6L6 brown Vibrasonic. If I'd only
had $700...
