When I made that crack about the rap remix, I had no idea something
like this had happened...care to share or is it too painful?

we once played at season closing at a local theatre, a private party
for the personel. same night there was an important soccer game in
the European championship in which Holland was playing, so,
anticipating no-one would come to the party if there was no chance to
see the game, they set up a giant screen and beamer pretty much next
to the stage.
we were asked to play during the interval of the game and then
continue during the second half and afterwards for dancing.
yeah you guessed right, it was 0-0 at half time and during the second
half the opponents made three goals, holland losing with 0-3. We
played for over an hour to a group of about 75 people that were
sitting in chairs, looking away from the stage, with increasingly
agonized (sic?) faces.
we screwed up the set too, but I doubt many people noticed.
