Re:to unlunf// Re: Los Straitjackets - Seattle, 12/10

Jeff (bigtikidude) - 13 Dec 2005 19:37:12

I'm pretty sure it was posted on here that the LSJ's were finally
bringing thier x-mas show to the West Coast.
But all the more reason to be on thier yahoo group
LosStraitjacketsurfclub
and the other ones like Cowabunga/Reverborma/etc.....
and also go to bands web sites periodically.
Oh also there is a yahoo group specifically for the Northwest
called Diceophonic.
sorry,
You snooze, you looze.

Jeff,

Hey, at least I'm all caught up on my sleep quota!! <lol>

I must have been out that day, and didn't read *all* of
the postings for the previous day or two.

Like I said, time is at a premium, and if the news doesn't
show up here, then it isn't all that newsworthy. And I
still say, this is the exception that proves the rule. <g>

From the opening blurb, it looks like it's just another
SG101 wannabe, see my previous paragraph for what I think
about that. And I don't see any indication that it's
region-specific - would I change my mind if I joined and
read it?
Thanks, Jeff!

I don't know how to say this, and not sound rude(which I'm not
trying to be)
It seems that you may not read every post on SG101, so you could
have missed the info. It was probably posted about a month or so back.
If you want info on shows that may happen in your area.
Then only looking at one yahoo group, isn't a very complete
search of internet resources. Do what you gotta do. but don't cry
when you missed a show in your back yard. :-(

I will be at the Moe's Alley Show tonight in Santa Cruz.
The Barbary Coasters open, so I've heard. They are a blast!
There will be no crying, just a bunch of jingle twang.

Jeff,
Hey, no harm, no foul. <g>
I think I did say a few posts back that I must have
missed this one. I sometimes take a day off from
the 'puter, and when I sign back on, I 'try' to read
all the unread posts. I guess that I just wasn't
careful that day, and probably didn't go back far
enough to see the LS show announcement. The crying
I'm doing is more like railing at myself for being
inattentive, not at anyone else for whatever reason.
But it is time to put some brakes on all the surfing
activity (of the innerweb kind), the other half is
starting to drop little hints. I'll still be here,
but I may not be jumping in as often - that's where
the time gets chewed up. There are some irons in
the fire, but I don't feel bad letting them go.
Ciao for now.
