Clint,
Say, did you contract a case of 'lysdexia', or have I
been missing a possibly good tune by the Challengers?

Was that not supposed to be "Foot Tapper", from the
album "On the Move with the Challenger"? But otherwise,
I loved the setlist, and I really appreciated the links.
Thanks.

Haps Per...
But I just go by what's on the cover. Check this link... it's a direct copy of
the CD. See song #20.
The liner notes states this song was on their second album "Lloyd Thaxton Goes
Surfing with The Challengers"
Perhaps it's in reference to the pitter-patter of little rug-rats... who knows?
Maybe Mr. Tomsco.

Clint,
Sure enough, there it is.... sigh. I don't dig that
one out too often, I usually grab either "On the Move"
or "New Wave", but I do have probably all of the CD's
released in their name. Listening to it right now,
in fact. Not bad. Not as good as "Foot Tapper" IMO,
but not bad at all.
Thanks.

My favorite by the Challengers is the "K-39" album - Hal Blaine
rules!
BTW, notice that both Foot Patter and Foot Tapper are covers - the
former of the Fireballs, and the latter of the Shadows.
And to give this one more twist, the Shadows played Find Me a Golden
Street, which was a tune performed by the Fireballs (and written by
Norman Petty, the Fireballs producer)!
Enough to get your head spinning...
