Fender Amps and Vibrasonic

-=Dan Ware=- - 19 Jan 2003 11:44:45

Hey Brian,
When The Nebulas first formed, thats what I was playing through; a '96
Custom Shop Vibrasonic. It was an awesome amp for the time, and it is 100
watts, 1x15 eminence speaker, vibrato/reverb, and two channels: "Normal" and
"Steel". It was an open back combo configuration a little taller than a Twin
but about as wide. A really powerful and clean amp, but it lacked the
low-end response of the Showman due to the open-back cab configuration of
the combo arrangement.
I would give it an 8/10 on The Nebulas Field Usefulness, Reliability and
Survivability Scale. AKA: The FURS Report.
But at the end of the day, nothing can touch a Showman.
