John McCorvey (eddiekatcher) - 16 Nov 2005 12:46:46

My email has been erratic for several weeks...it bounced me out of the chat room
at 10:55 and I couldn't get back in. Lately it has refused to send some of my
normal emails.....figure? eddie k

Stretch....if Yahoo tries to deliver email to you and your service
provider rejects it for whatever reason, you get put on a "bouncing
members" list. Yahoo will then periodically try to reactivate you, but
it may be slow about it.
I can suggest:
1) If you really like your current service provider, but it's having
issues, temporarily disable email delivery and read the groups via the
web only until the problem goes away. Of course it's hard to know when
the problem has gone away.
2) Use a Yahoo/Google/Netscape email address as your email delivery
address. Chances are it won't bounce as much as maybe cruzio.com or
whatever.
Let me know if you continue to have problems (off-list).
Thanks,
BN
PS
If you or anyone wants a Google mail account, send me an email off-
list and I can send you an invite. You get 2 GB of space, a cool spell
checker, and threaded conversations...and a lot more. It rocks.

My AOL mail, is always great, spam and Mail naice and seperated.
But My Yahoo is always mixed up.
I get regular e-mails from people in my spam box, and
and Spam in my regular box.
And for anyone who has yahoo, check what is in your spam box before
it gets deleted. I know that Clint Beechawood, and a few other
people weren't getting my e-mails from my AOL account, and they
were going to their spam , and getting auto deleted.
I had to send a e-mail from my yahoo for them to get it, and know
that there was a problem.
