re: Dean Markley strings

unlunf - 13 Nov 2005 20:13:27

All,
My opinion was asked, I delivered, that's all. I'm
neither right nor wrong, ditto for anyone else's
opinion stated here.
FWIW, we all come to a decision about what's our
favorite string (or whatever) for what we consider
to be very good reasons. An opinion is not always
based on fact, but sometimes upon belief. When
someone calls into question another's belief, that's
usually called trolling. As Brian would tell us,
on this list, that's a Romper Room no-no. <g>
And that's why I'm staying mum! <lol>

What are you talking about? People are just stating opinions on the
Dean Markley (and other) strings. I detect no trolling. I stated my
opinion, you did, others did, this is what the list is for. We don't
have to agree. Chill.

Brian,
Did you miss the grin I put at the end of my
message? It was meant to say that if "I"
were to reply, it could be taken the wrong
way, so I was just gonna leave it alone.
Man, I'm so chilled out now, that if I got
any colder, I could rent myself out as a
man-sized room cooler. <lol>

You always put grins at the end of every sentence....! It's hard to
know when you really mean them!

unlunf, I got the impression you felt you were being attacked or
something, and that clearly was not the case. No one was tearing
into anyone, no one was trolling, it was a pretty tame exchange by
most standards. People were expressing their own subjective
opinions, just like you, in a calm and rational manner.
Why you would bother to say, under these conditions, that "well I
could say something here but I won't cause you will all jump on me"
kind of leaves me puzzled. Are we that nasty here? :-)
A few people liked Dean Markley strings under certain conditions,
and some weren't so hot on them. No harm, no foul...
