Very Garagey and Live sound recording.
Wild Sammy and the Royaltones,
I'm not crazy about it, but a friend of mine went apeshit for it.
I believe this is an off shoot/side band for The Royal Fingers.

There's a very good compilation calleed "Japanese Groupsound!"
(Spinout Records) that came out in 2003. It's a mix of vocals and
instros, and features the 5,6,7,8's, the Befores, Jackie & the
Cedrics, the Pebbles, the Royal Fingers, the Neatbeats, and Mach Kung
Fu. It's available from Eddie Angel's label:
