Danelectro made the Hodad: a weird hybrid of Dano technology and
Mosrite design. Mine kicks butt, super twang-a-delic, Bigsby-like
tremolo, stays in tune, it's light-weight, dual tapped lipstick
pickups, metallic red. Sounds great through my fender reverb unit.
You can probably find one on e-bay for $200-$300.
