Eddie...count me in for a set.
I've always meant to go try a local machine shop and see if they could
1) put threads on my trem arm, and 2) replace the collet with a
cylinder I could screw the arm into. I saw a Jazzmaster on Ebay once
where someone had this done. He said it took the guys at the machine
shop 20 minutes to do, and they were glad to do it in their spare
time, just like Robb mentioned.

My dad was an old "Bridgeport" guy and I spent my highschool years
with the smell of cutting oil and freaking out that I'd sever a
finger and never play guitar again. When my dad got sick and
couldn't keep up with orders some of his friends at a local machine
shop helped out. Maybe I could dig some of these guys up. I also
may be able to find a few of the guys we sold his machines to. So
John if your thing falls through maybe I can help out, just an
option.
