Hi All,
Just had a great Time with the Surfaris here! We played with them and it
was great. Even went with Paul Johnson, Ron Eglit and Jim Fuller for a
drink (Yep some of that Famous Belgian beer) It was pretty akward
talking to these guys who wrote some of the greatest Surf classics.
Nice show and very friendly guys. Very powerful with the three guitar
line up. Paul really knows how to play the Surf guitar....wow superb
guitar work there. Most of the classics passed by and Jim Fuller did
some "Eddie Cochran" vocals, which were nice as well. Ron did a splendid
"Penetration" and "Wipe Out" still does it. So, go see them while you
can.....
They will be In Germany from Nov 2 and then they are off to Italy.
Oh, and Yes, Ron is indeed an old time Surfer, her used to be in "Adrian
and the sunsets" before playing bass with the Dalemaster.
