Re: The Surfaris In general( a total turn around fopr this band)

Jeff (bigtikidude) - 30 Oct 2005 17:20:02

It's great to hear all these positive coments on the Surfaris
new line up/sound.
I was getting ot the point, where if they were playing, I might go
if it was convienient(sp?).
But with the Addition of Ron Eglit(formerly of Dick Dales band)
but now on Guitar(Jazzmaster)and just ripping it up with tons of
Reverb. I am now looking forward to seeingthem play around a bit
more.
I hear they might be thinking of adding some more tunes to thier
setlist. I just hope that they look to their back catalog of killer
tunes to pull form. Instead of playing more cover songs.

Tiki Dude,
Did you see them July 4th at the Huntington Beach Pier? 2 hours of
mega energy & reverb in my opinion. They absolutely kicked ass, IMHO.
