Re: Here are my picts from the DirtStock or DirtFest (Revised URL)

midwest_surf_guy - 27 Oct 2005 17:52:21

Oops! I got a few emails saying that I had mistaken John Blair for Marty
Tippens. I made
the corrections early this morning, but they weren't showing up so I nuked the
site and
started over. I missed the first group playing which was John Blair and Marty
Tippens. I
was trying to figure out who he was by searching the internet for pictures. I
had found
some old pictures of John Blair with a mustache. Then on someone elses pictures
from the
Brookdale had the first group playing one had a mustache. So I assumed the guy
with the
mustache was John Blair. I guess I should not assume anything. I am sorry for
the mistake
and if there are any others please let me know.
Thanks
Guy
This is the corrected URL to get to the pictures:

How about all those ghostly orbs in the photos? As a pro photographer and not a
ghost
hunter, I'm a skeptic, especially since they don't seem to be in Unsteady
Freddie's photos,
but still, they're eerie to look at, and the Brookdale is supposed to be
haunted, so....you all
decide. Happy Halloween.

Steve,
did you see a bunch of orbs? I only saw 2 in the picture of
Ferenc towards the bottom of the page.
I've been to the Brookdale 3 times, and I'm always looking for
something out of the ordinary. But besides all these dudes into
instro only music, nothing too bizarre.
do you think that those orbs are dust in front of the camera, or
something paranormal?

Jeff,
There are a lot of them in the wide shots of the Neptunes and the Berzerkers.
I want to believe they're otherworldly, but I've looked these over again, and
others on the
Web, and the orbs seem to appear only in flash photos taken with point 'n' shoot
type
cameras, usually digital. There are no orbs in the photos taken without flash.
So, I think
they are just dust fairly close to the camera. Still, I like to keep an open
mind....
Man, I wish I could have been at that show.
