I did that to a Bandmaster Reverb head about six years ago. I used
Celestion 8" speakers. Even with the Bandmaster, two 8s can't produce any
clarity at stage volumes. It became total mush with the volume over 4.
Later I put the chassis in a 1x15" combo, which sounded great. Stan-o from
Los Mel-tones in Montreal still has it.
