Naotaka Seki, the Surf Coasters drummer is doing some
kind of live performance on Japanese TV, but it will
also be webcast, so maybe we can figure out how to
watch. The program is scheduled for broadcast Oct 21,
10PM Japan time, which I figure is 6AM (Oct 21) here
on the West Coast of America, or 3 PM in Brussels...
Here is the web site for the TV sation-
good luck-

Here is how I think you watch it.
You click, on the main page, on the "Live on Air" graphic link on the
top half of the page.
That will then take you to a page the has two graphics with internet
connection speeds. Choose which one you want. I'll do the faster one.
Doing this a second time got me a second result. The first time it
brought me to a form page. On that form there were two circle
buttons/boxes. I clicked on the one on the right and then at the
bottom of the screen clicked on the button the right which I figured
to be the take me to the video button.
The second time I did it after clicking on the speed button it took me
straight to the video.
Here is my problem. My computer hates me and no video shows up. This
is my fault. I know for a fact that video can play from that point it
just flashes on my screen that I need to "click here for download".
Some people may actually need the download though. I just cannot use a
computer. I know solutions to play that video anyways so get a hold of
me if anyone really needs to.

Did anybody else watch this morning? It was pretty
cool- good quality feed, and I only had to reconnect a
few times. 'Course it was all in Japanese, but it was
Naotaka Seki on TV, with the Surf coaster blaring in
the background. In the few words I could pick out, he
was talking about their tours in America, their latest
album and their upcoming tour. At about 33 minutes,
they played a video for "Samurai Struck" that included
footage from the '05 USA tour- I saw KFJC's Pit, my
kids school and lots of the clubs they played in. I
am going to see if they can post the video somewhere
for download.
Thanks,
Ferenc

Oh man. I missed it. I remember him being a very funny guy from the US
tours. That is the impression I got anyways. Always had a smile on his
face.
