Okay, I am playing through a reissue 50s Strat. Anything I can do to
make it sound more like a Jag?

I've got both a Jag and a Strat and these are really different
guitars. The Jag sounds fuller and "meaner" to me. I don't know what
you could do to your Strat to make it more Jaguar'ish. There are a
couple of very important differences: The Jag has a shorter neck
scale (24" vs 25.5"), 2 hotter pickups (plus they have metal teeth
around them - for whatever thats worth), and a completely different
bridge/tremolo system. Each of these is pretty significant. I like my
Strat a lot, don't get me wrong, but I really dig the "both pickups
on" sound from the Jaguar. I usually prefer the middle pickup only on
my Strat.
