did anybody of you,playing with a hot-rod deluxe? at which level do it brakes? I
have a chance to get it ,but I remember a Deville braking early,is it the same?

Depends on the tubes you use.Winged c 's and tesla 12ax7's give me
what I want.I am playing arround with a 12at7 in the second
position.One of the two I have runs a little hotter but the 12at7
cools it down a touch.Miller

you are correct...the hot rod deluxe will break up at a relatively low
volume.....great for bues/rock......not so great for surf/instro.......eddie k
