Reminder - PleaseTrim Your Posts

Brian Neal (xarxas) - 05 Oct 2005 21:14:18

When replying to someone else, please delete all irrelevant parts of
the original email. This includes all the Yahoo ads and junk at the
bottom. If you don't do this, it quickly snowballs out of control and
soon you are quoting several hundred lines of text just to add your
own witty one line reply.
Please try to post with plain text emails. HTML doesn't work right all
the time.
Thanks,
The Mgmt

For our friends using the list in digest mode, please remember to
delete ads, Yahoo footers, and unnecessary parts of quoted messages.
Thanks!

They do when you read the group via email or email digest mode.

also if you dont pay for yahoo! and send an email, the
recipitent gets a footer with ads. and they can add up
quick.
sorry about not trimming my posts, it was some of my
fault this week. I only subscribe to digests when a
group only posts announcments, and theres no
conversations. cause if 2 or 3 conversations are going
on at the same time, it gets harry !
