There was an article in the Flagpole, the local 'zine
here in Athens, about Love Tractor some time ago.
They are still active but I believe the band has
mostly new members. It also mentioned something about
the guys not really trying to recreate the sound of
the old Love Tractor, so what they're actually doing
is anyone's guess. As long as we're talking about
Athens instro bands, check these guys out:
These guys are kind of on again/off again because the
main guitar player does a lot of other projects but
they're two originals are good, plus they do great
instro covers of "The Metro" by Berlin and "Talk To Me
Like Lovers Do" by Annie Lennox. I wish they'd record
those.
