* Surf Rider/Surf Drums, The Lively Ones
* The Best of Dave Myers and The Surf-Tones

That's really a pretty good collection for under $100! I'd start with Dick
Dale and keep goin' - you've got lots of hours of good listening!
I did notice the "Jenny McCarthy's Surfin' Safari" title - I had to check
out the review on Phil Dirt's site, and yes, Virginia, that was the Jenny
McCarthy I was thinking of . . . .nice cover artwork! :P Actually, the
tunes on that are pretty good . . .
Enjoy your new collection - nice score!
-Dick

I was particularly stoked about The Mermen, Los Meltones, and The Aqua
Velvets. My current collection is mostly first-wave stuff, and these
later artists will help me see the progression of the profession. And
the Jenny McCarthy cover...well, that's a tasty bonus if ever there
was one!!!

Jeff (bigtikidude) - 11 Dec 2002 22:05:59

-Gavin,
The only question I have is: who in the hell is the Idiot that is
selling that stuff. Whenever I see Good/Cool used surf stuff, I have
a mixed reaction. Wow, I gotta but this for someone I know that
wants it. And Why would someone sell this? It never seases to amaze
me.
As for the Jenny McCarthy cd Wait till you open up the fold out
poster. But even better than that is I have a full length size that
we used to carry from my work of Her Standing sideways next to the
Longboard. Uh huh huh huh Long board. Sorry I couldn't resist.
Enjoy your super score,
Jeff(bigtikidude)

'Twas just a power record seller...I think she just packaged
everything up as a super surf set. But, very good choices IMHO. I just
got lucky, I guess.
