Surf Bands at the LA Zoo ?

Doug_Forbes1 - 31 Aug 2005 10:49:07

Are there more of you folks playing at the zoo that I don't know about?
I saw the Detonators and they were fabulous but I didn't know that
Longboard Ranch was there last weekend. Anybody else scheduled ?
thanks
Doug Forbes

Doug, mi amigo,
I know you and Bob caught us before but we are playing again this weekend at
the Zoo (all three days of Labor Day Weekend). Love to have you (and anyone
else one this list) make it out again.
Cheers,
Ted

Since The Detonators are playing the ENTIRE Labor Day weekend at the LA Zoo, and
if you'd like to see Longboard Ranch, we're playing two hourlong sets, starting
at 1PM and again at 3PM this Sunday, September 4, at the City of Orange
International Street Fair, at the Polynesian Stage. This'll be our third year
in a row at this event, and we're planning to play about 50/50 covers and
originals. That way, you can take in the Detonators on Saturday or Monday, or
both, and still see us on Sunday.
If you can make it, we'd love to see ya there!

Bruce,
If we weren't playing the ENTIRE weekend, I'd love to get down to see you
guys at the City of Orange event. That's always a fun deal and hearing me
some Longboard Ranch in the Polynesian Village, while sipping a Mai Tai
sounds like a great way to spend a Sunday of Labor day Weekend!
Have fun this weekend and crank it up!
Cheers,
Ted

Thanks Ted!
You guys knock 'em out from what I've heard. Hope this slightly cooler weather

Hi Ted,
If not a Mai Tai, then maybe a Doc's Hard Lemon (frozen to a slush!) That's
what they were selling from the stand right next to the stage, last year, and at
108 degrees, those frozn drinks were SOOO GOOOD!!!
Every time I hear anything about you guys, it's positive, and I'm sure you'll
kick ass this weekend. At least the weather's been a few degrees cooler the
last couple days! We'd love to see you guys at one of our shows soon!
Regards,
Bruce D
