I've done this many times. This works just as well as on a non-reverb amp as
long as you don't have both the amp reverb and the outboard reverb on at the
same time. When both reverbs are engaged simulaneously, the sound gets
extremely muddy and unpleasing to the ear - a real case of "less is more"!
Many players I know, like this set up, because they can use the footswitches
from the amp reverb and the outboard reverb to alternate from the full drench
sound of the outboard, to a lower level of verb from the amp, without having to
bend over to adjust knobs on each.
Hope that answers your question.

Oh don't do that, the Twin and the tank are mortal enemies! But seriously folks,
a Twin and a tank is a very common arrangement. Turn off the reverb on the amp.

Not sure if I understand what you mean... DO you mean using both reverbs
together, or do you mean using the tank and a twin amp together? I have done
both. I recently switched to a twin with a single 15" to help soften the
"OUCH" factor of the twin 2x12... I will play no other amp from that moment
forward. There really is no better combo than that for my style of
playing...

I've used this set-up for years. Works fine for me.
Like others said, both reverbs together is too much.
